VIVIDH 5.0: National Policy Discussion Competition
Damodaram Sanjivayya National Law University (DSNLU), Visakhapatnam, is hosting VIVIDH 5.0, its flagship policy discussion event for law students across India. This is a unique competition where you’ll dive into real draft legislation, propose smart amendments, and debate them with peers in a structured format.
🗓 Event Dates: 7th–8th February 2026
🧠 What It’s About: Participants interpret and suggest amendments to draft bills, then lobby for their ideas in front of judges. Your skills in analysis, drafting, persuasion, and policy thinking will be tested.
📌 Competition Flow:
• Preliminary rounds begin with four independent sessions.
• Draft legislations include the Geo-Heritage Bill, Right to Disconnect Bill, Press and Registration Bill, and Citizens’ Charter Bill.
• Final rounds follow for top qualifiers.

💰 Participation Fee: ₹500 (with accommodation) / ₹300 for DSNLU students

• 🥇 Winner – Trophy, certificate + ₹5,000
• 🎤 Best Speaker – Trophy, certificate + ₹3,000
• ✍️ Best Amendment – Trophy, certificate + ₹2,000
All participants receive a certificate, and finalists get certificates of excellence.
