🚨 Seminar Alert for Law Students! 🚨
From classrooms to careers — how does the journey from education to employment really look in India?
The Centre for the Study of Social Inclusion (CSSI) at National Law School of India University is organising a public seminar on “From Classrooms to Careers: Understanding the School to Work Transition – State of Working India Report 2026” with labour economist Dr. Rosa Abraham.
As India approaches the peak of its demographic dividend, the challenge is no longer just access to education, but ensuring meaningful employment after graduation. While graduate earnings are higher, the rise in graduates has not been matched by enough graduate-level jobs. This seminar will explore this critical gap and how the school-to-work transition has changed over the last four decades.
🗓 Date: Thursday, April 30, 2026
⏰ Time: 5:10 PM – 6:40 PM
📍 Venue: NAB 203, NLSIU Campus, Bengaluru
The session will be moderated by Dr. Shiuli Vanaja.
For students interested in labour law, policy, economics, and social justice, this is a great opportunity to understand the realities behind India’s employment landscape and engage with one of the leading voices in labour market research.
