2nd National Intellectual Property Law Moot Court Competition – RGNUL, Punjab (2026)
The Centre for Innovation and Intellectual Property Rights (CIIPR) at Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law (RGNUL), Punjab, proudly announces the 2nd National Intellectual Property Law Moot Court Competition, 2026. This national-level moot seeks to deepen students’ understanding of intellectual property law and sharpen their research, writing, and oral advocacy skills through a structured, practice-oriented format.
🗓 Important Dates
• Release of Proposition & Guidelines: 20 January 2026
• Last Date of Registration: 5 February 2026
• Memorial Submission Deadline: 20 February 2026
• Results (Memorial Qualifier): 25 February 2026
• Oral Rounds (Offline): 9–10 March 2026
• Valedictory Ceremony: 10 March 2026
🎯 Eligibility & Format
• Open to all undergraduate law students.
• Each team must have two members.
• Teams will submit written memorials for both sides of the dispute, strictly following the official rules.
• Top 16 teams based on memorial scores will qualify for the oral rounds.
• Oral rounds include preliminary, semi-final, and final stages, focusing on legal reasoning, advocacy, and responsiveness to judicial questioning.
💰 Registration & Fees
• Early Bird: ₹1,500 per team (till 27 January 2026)
• Regular Fee: ₹2,000 per team thereafter
• Registration closes on 5 February 2026.

• Runner-Up: ₹8,000
• Best Memorial: ₹5,000
• Best Speaker: ₹5,000
