We are pleased to invite you to the five days Certificate Course on “Introduction to European Union Law (International and European Law)”, offered by Maharashtra National Law University Mumbai in collaboration with Berlin School of Economics and Law, Germany.
The course will be conducted between 18th -21st March 2019 at MNLU Mumbai (CETTM Campus). This course is open to all undergraduate & post graduate students as well as early career lawyers and researchers. Due to limited seats, all applications will be accepted on first come first served basis.

The primary objectives of the course is as below:
1. To expose participants about the basic concepts on International Law and European Union Law.
2. To enable participants to understand the multi-level governance setting and enforcement mechanism of European Union.
3. To identify and critically engage into the issues related to international treaties of European Union, Lisbon and Maastricht Treaties.
4. To enable participants to understand and compare issues in different jurisdictions, primarily European Union and Germany.
Each participant will receive a detailed study material and reading compendium (essential and additional reading for each session). Printed copies of Treaty on European Union, the Treaty on the Function of the European Union and the EU Charta of Fundamental Rights will be provided on the first day.
