GNLU has launched short term Intensive certificate course on Advance issues of Laws of sea and Maritime Laws from 25 March, 2013 – 08 April, 2013. 
 
The objectives of course are 
  • ·        To provide knowledge on contemporary and advance issues and practices of the law of the sea and maritime laws in an intensive manner;
  • ·        To discuss, analyse and forecast the state practice of India on the law of the sea and maritime laws and future operational challenges and issues at officers level;
  • ·        To acquire understanding on the issues and challenges on the law of the sea and maritime laws in major seafaring nations

 

Faculty will consist of well-experienced  academicians, scholars, practitioners such as Ms. Veluvellel Thomas Ticy, Centre for Maritime Studies, National University of Singapore, Adm. (ret.) Shabtai Levy, Academic Director, Port Management Programme, Gaililee Institute of Management , ISRAEL, Mr. O. P. Sharma, Rear Admiral (Ret.) Indian Navy, Prof. Dr. Bimal N Patel, Director, Gujarat National Law University, Dr. Narinder Sing, Member, International Law Commission, Mr. Sanjay P Krishnan, National University of Singapore, Mr. Ranjeet Sangle, Maritime Expert & Advocate Bombay High Court, Maritime Expert fromMinistry of external affairs, Government of India, Indian Navy officers, Indian Coast Guard Officers etc. 
 
Course fee is : Rs 2, 000 only 
 
Class Time: 5- 6.15 PM (1 Hr 15 M Daily)
