The article displays the track record of Modi government since the elections. The influence of the big industrialists can be easily observed over the current government. Why the government which propounded the concepts of “Acche Din” and “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas”, have failed to implement them,
On the day, results were declared and it became known that the BJP led by Modi had won majority of seats in the Loksabha, on 16 May 2014, Corporate master of a renowned group and the close confidant of Prime Minister had proudly announced that a company in his group, Adani Ports, had agreed to acquire a port at Dhamra, Odisha, for the equivalent of $0.92 billion or nearly ₹6,000 crore. After the NDA government came into power, there was a hue and cry all around and the critics started saying that the power has taken the direction of brutal capitalism. People started saying that Narendra Modi is the puppet of Hindutva organization RSS, creation of Media and Sponsored candidate of large gigantic groups like Reliance and Adani. The funniest of all this was our Prime Minister is a “Globetrotter”.
We have seen the one year regime of Modi Ji and on the basis of it, is it right to say that power is in the hand of Suit- Boot Ki Sarkar (Government dressed in Suits and Boots- Sarcasm)? Yes because, most importantly – The CAG (Comptroller and Auditor General of India) named one of the Union Miniter of National Democratic Alliance Government as one of the “promoters and/or directors” of Purti Sakhar Karkhana Ltd., a company that, it said, was sanctioned a loan of Rs. 84.12 crore by the Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency (IREDA) in violation of guidelines. The Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement (Amendment) Bill 2015, also known has land bill 2015 appears to me as it is framed by Corporate masters. Every amendment (9 amendments in the bill) in the bill gives clear indication that the Government is paying back what they have taken during the time of elections. Now, the ironical part lies in the fact that the government which raised the issue of farmer’s suicide and benefit of disadvantageous had themselves removed the consent clause and provision of Social Impact Assessment (SIA). The government has amended Section 10(A) of the Act to expand sectors where assessment and consent will not be required. For five sectors, the consent clause has been removed.
So the government or private individuals/companies will no longer need mandatory 80% consent for land acquisition in those five sectors. This situation is very similar to the pre-independence British laws, where the land of the poor was snatched away for the British interests. One more example, of this Pro-corporate Government, is the; Allegations that were made by the CAG and has also framed charges against Modi with favoring certain big industries, including Gautam Adani’s, Adani Energy and Mukesh Ambani’s, Reliance Industries. Owing to the undue benefits passed on to these two companies, the Gujarat State Petroleum Corporation (GSPC) incurred massive losses. There is no doubt that certain policies were made by the Modi government keeping in view the felicitation of business of Ambani’s and every prudent individual knows what government did for Reliance group concerning KG Basin extraction. From all the above instances we can clearly conclude that to a larger extent the critics were not at all wrong if they said that our Prime Minister is the Industrialist sponsored personality.
Now to rebut all this, an Intellectual personality from Government side came into lime light and stated that our government is SOOJH – BOOJH KI SARKAR (rational and logical government). Yes, one can rely on the statement if we will consider Policies like Good foreign relations constituting positive results in SAARC Summit, BRICS Summit and almost in every meet our Prime Minister influenced all the leaders in the summit, concept of less government and More Governance, Bold steps were taken like termination of FYUP, overcoming Crisis in Iraq. Popular Policies like Swatch Bharat Campaign Make in India, Liberalizing Coal Mining, Accelerating Disinvestment of ONGC, Coal India and NHPC, Making PIO visas for life, Smart Cities, Ganga Cleaning, Bullet Trains and many more. The above Policies show that this government is doing far better than the predecessors. But even third perception falls flat when my ears are in consonance with the statement made by the Politicians like Sakhsi Maharaj, Sadhvi Pragya, Yogi Aditynath and many more leaders who have interpreted the Hinduism in a wrong way. There statement appears as if there is an end of logical era and humanity has lost its way. Abusing a leader publicly for the sake of fetching votes, illogical remarks on family planning, and the hilarious one is the cause of Nepal earthquake.
In the concluding remarks being a rational, prudent and common voter of nation who has given his vote in the anticipation of the Aache din (good days) expect few thing from the Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi Ji. The anti- common man policies should be scrapped and the notion that you gave at the time of election- Sabka Saaath, Sabka Vikas (everyone and development for everyone) should be kept in mind before formulating policies.
“The silence maintained by Modi — who is supposed to deny and clarify on opposite opinions made by anyone, which would pull the country back — is surprising and shocking to those who believe in progressive ideals like democracy, secularism, peace, equality and inclusive development, “The Prime Minister should take a class of his fellow member who made illogical comments. We hope that from next time onwards government should stop making JUMLAS (In reference to black money issue) because every single word uttered by a Prime Ministerial Candidate can make and shatter the dreams of a common man. Still we have 4 years and we understand that even Rome was not built in a day.
