3rd Justice Hidayatullah International Moot Court Competition (HIMCC) 2026
Hidayatullah National Law University (HNLU), Raipur, is pleased to announce the third edition of the Justice Hidayatullah International Moot Court Competition (HIMCC), taking place 13–15 March 2026 at the HNLU campus in Nava Raipur, Chhattisgarh. This prestigious event honours the legacy of Justice Mohammad Hidayatullah and brings together national and international law schools to engage with pressing global legal issues.
Who Can Participate
Law students enrolled full-time in recognised undergraduate or postgraduate law programmes are eligible. Each institution may register one team. Universities with multiple law departments may register teams from constituent units.
Competition Format
The competition will be conducted in offline mode at the HNLU campus, which features advanced moot court facilities including a Master Moot Court Hall and dedicated courtrooms.
Moot Proposition
HIMCC 2026 focuses on clean energy, environmental sustainability, and climate justice — inviting participants to frame strong legal arguments on issues at the intersection of energy law and environmental protection.
