NLSIU is seeking talented, committed and dynamic legal minds in different areas to join as Faculty for fulfilling its mission and invites applications for the following posts in the pay bands mentioned below:

Sl. No. Post No. of Posts Pay Band Qualifications
1 Assistant Professor of Law 4 15600-39100 AGP 6000 As per UGC norms
2 Assistant Professor in Political Science 1 15600-39100 AGP 6000 As per UGC norms

All these positions are subject to the qualifications and experience prescribed by the UGC. Candidates with the specialization in the following subjects are encouraged to apply:

a. Procedural Laws

b. Taxation Laws

c. Corporate Law

d. Jurisprudence

e. Alternate Dispute Resolution (ADR)

f. Labour Laws

g. Competition Law

h. Criminal Justice

i. International Law

Prescribed application form can be had from the office of the Registrar either personally or by sending a self-addressed envelope on payment of Rs.1000/- for General candidates and Rs.500/- for SC, ST and PWD candidates by way of Demand Draft drawn in favour of Registrar, NLSIU payable at Bengaluru. The application form can also be downloaded from NLS website www.nls.ac.in and submitted along with the prescribed fee as indicated above.

Duly filled in application form along with the relevant supporting documents duly self attested should be sent to The Registrar, National Law School of India University, PB No. 7201, Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru – 560 072 on or before 24.04.2017.
