Amity Law School Lucknow in association with Amity School of Communication announces summer certificate program on Media Law. The officials said that the certificate course is open to all including faculties or teaching professionals. However, the total intake for the course is limited to 50. According to coordinators the course is designed to bridge-up the gap between field and academics. In today’s world the role of media bears important place in day to day life.
The fees for 3 weeks certificate course is very cheap. Amity Students or Faculties have to pay Rs. 1000 whereas Rs. 1500 is for non-Amity Participants. The course will include all important areas of media laws and its interaction with other field of law with special attention on offences by media i.e. defamation & contempt of court. For completion of course 100% attendance is mandatory. After successful completion of course exams will be conducted and grades/points will be given on the basis of performance. Each participant will be issued certificate recognized by Amity University Uttar Pradesh. Mr. Panch Rishi Dev Sharma of ALS and Mr. Sanjiv Sabarwal of ASCO are coordinators of the course. The course will start on 3rd June and end till 21st June 2013. The classes will be taken 10:00 AM to 01:00 PM. The intake is on first come first serve.
