About the Position
The National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) invites applications from eligible Young Professionals who have sound knowledge and aptitude for research and practical experience in dealing with human rights issues for empanelment as Junior Research Consultants’ on a contractual basis.
The engagement shall be governed by the terms and conditions prescribed in the procedure and guidelines for engagement as ‘Junior Research Consultant’ on a contractual basis in the Commission, issued vide O.M. No.A-12024/1/2023-Estt./8438-8448 dated 06/11/2023. Eligibility

- As per the existing guidelines, the essential qualification is LLB or Post Graduate in Social Science, such as Political Science, Sociology, International relations, Social work, human rights, Developmental Communications, etc., from any recognised University with minimum 60% marks.
- In the event of receipt of a large number of applications, the Commission reserves the right to restrict consideration of candidature to those candidates who, in addition to fulfilling the minimum eligibility criteria, have secured a higher percentage of marks in the Bachelor’s Degree and possess desirable higher qualification and experience.
