National Law University Delhi (“University”) invites applications for the position of Academic Fellow on a contractual basis. The University seeks to engage One (01) Full-time Academic Fellow at the following Chair on its campus in Dwarka, New Delhi.
About the Chair
A UNESCO Chair for Legal Dimensions of Clean Sports is a team led by a higher education or research institution that partners with UNESCO on a project to advance knowledge and practice in an area of common priority. The partnership is formalized through an agreement between the Director-General of UNESCO and the head of the institution hosting the UNESCO Chair (Rector, President, Vice-Chancellor).
Eligibility
- LL.M. with a specialization in Research Methodology/ Sports Law/ International Law/ ADR from a recognised Indian or foreign university with minimum 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed), and a good academic record.
- Demonstrable research track record in the concerned subject.
- Prior research experience including field work and data collection is highly desirable.
Requirements
Demonstrable research track record in any one of the subjects mentioned in this call. Interdisciplinary research will be considered as an advantage.
Roles & Responsibilities
The Academic Fellow shall be expected to assist research work, in relevant areas in consultation with the University. They shall be primarily required to research and publish at least three papers (One Scopus and two International) in a year. They shall also be expected to contribute other academic/ administrative pursuits in the University.
The work involved will require excellent research and writing skills in the concerned field.

Salary & Duration
- The selected candidates will receive a consolidated remuneration of INR 50,000 (Rupees Fifty Thousand) per month (subject to TDS deduction @10% under the Income Tax Act), funded by the respective Chair.
- The appointment will be for an initial period of one year, with the possibility of extension based on satisfactory performance and the availability of funds under the respective Chair.
