1st Indian Youth Parliament 2014 will be organised in the city of temples Jammu, Jammu and Kashmir from 6-8 June by global project initiative network.  IYP 2014 Conference seeks to bring together future and current youth leaders from around the country to engage in a three day dialogue to engage with the events and ideas that will shape the destiny of India.

Participants will be submitting position papers on the topics to be debated during the conference which later on will be converted into proposal for government.

ABOUT DEBATE:-
First session of IYP will consist of four debates to be held in a span of two days on four different topics after that all debated topics will be put to vote and finally drafted as proposal which is going to be presented to the new government

TOPICS TO BE DEBATED:-


1  Development of Jammu and Kashmir ( implementation of programmes and new initiatives , engaging local youth )
2  MDG Goals and their Implementation
3  Inclusive and Participatory Governance ( empowering people, programme implementation, reducing corruption )
4  Role of youth in National Transformation : My Vision – My 
Nation

ELIGIBILITY:- INDIAN CITIZEN AGED BETWEEN 18 TO 28 ARE ELIGIBLE TO PARTICIPATE AND HE/SHE MUST BE AFFILIATED TO SOME UNIVERSITY/COLLEGE OR GRADUATED.

Regular registration deadline – 30th april 2014

Final registration deadline – 20th may 20th may 2014
