About the Speakers
Dr. Venugopal K R, Former Vice-Chancellor, Bangalore University
Dr. Venugopal K. R. is the former Vice-Chancellor of Bangalore University and a distinguished academic, researcher, and institution-builder with over five decades of experience in higher education.
Holding 11 degrees, including Ph.Ds. in Economics and Computer Science Engineering, he has authored over 100 books, published 1,200+ research papers, and holds 44 patents. An IEEE Fellow and ACM Distinguished Educator, he has served in key leadership roles at AICTE, UVCE, and Bangalore University, where he led the institution to achieve NAAC A++ accreditation.
He currently continues his academic and research pursuits in emerging areas such as artificial intelligence and cyber law.
Prof. (Dr.) V. Vijayakumar, Advisor and Professor of Eminence, School of Law. MSRUAS
Prof. (Dr.) V. Vijayakumar is a distinguished legal academic with over four decades of experience in legal education, research, and university administration. A founding faculty member of National Law School of India University, he served the institution in various leadership roles, including Registrar and Chair of the UNHCR Chair on Refugee Law.
An internationally recognized scholar, Prof. Vijayakumar has been a Visiting Professor and Scholar at leading institutions in Germany, Canada, and Singapore, and has authored over 50 publications.
He is the recipient of numerous national and international honours, including recognition in the Forbes Legal Power List 2022 and the Overseas Friend of India Award. He currently serves as Advisor and Professor of Eminence at the School of Law, M. S. Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences.
