Greetings from Maharashtra National Law University Mumbai!
We are pleased to announce that MNLU Mumbai is organising a unique skill based course on how to teach advocacy skills to law students.
The objective of this ‘Training of Trainers’ is to impart advocacy skills to the law faculty and young advocates that comprise case analysis, witness handling, oral arguments and written advocacy so as to bridge the gap between substantive law teaching and the practice of law. The teaching methodology is ‘learning by doing’ sessions conducted through class simulations followed by a structured review by the faculty of each performance of the participants. Each exercise will be preceded by a faculty demonstration.
The course will be conducted between 14-16 July 2018 at MNLU Mumbai campus. The target group for the course is law teachers and young advocates. The last date for registration is 07th July 2018. One can register beyond the last date upon the payment of late fees. For more details kindly see the attached poster here.
In order to register for the course send an e-mail at nlum.advocacyskills2018@gmail.com in the prescribed form.
At the end of the course, the participants will receive a certificate of having undergone the training. The Course material will be provided to the participants.
