The University has introduced Master of Laws (LL.M.) programme of two years duration (four semesters) through its constituent the Centre for Juridical Studies.

Eligibility for LL.M.: 
A candidate to take admission into LL.M. Programme must have 50% marks in aggregate in 3 year LL.B. or 5 year B.A./B.Sc./B.Com./BBA-LL.B course recognized by Dibrugarh University. The candidates appearing in final year examination of the 5 aforesaid Programmes may also apply but at the time of Counselling they must produce original mark sheets and certificates of the result.

Admission Procedure:
The admission to LL.M. Programme will be made only on merit basis through an Entrance Test and Counselling to be conducted by the University. Admission cannot be claimed by any applicant as a matter of right. On being called for counselling, the applicant has to appear before admission committee at the Centre for Juridical Studies, D.U. with all original certificates, mark sheets and other requirements on scheduled date and time. On being selected for admission, if any applicant fails to deposit prescribed fee within stipulated time, his/her admission will be automatically deemed to be cancelled.

For admission in LL.M. in the Centre for Juridical Studies, Dibrugarh University, the intending applicants have to fill up application forms through downloading which is available at Dibrugarh University website www.dibru.ac.in with Demand Draft of Rs. 1000/- only as entrance test fee in favour of ‘REGISTRAR, DIBRUGARH UNIVERSITY’ payable at STATE BANK OF INDIA, DIBRUGARH UNIVERSITY BRANCH (Code No. 2051). The application forms may be submitted by hand to the office of the Centre for Juridical Studies, Dibrugarh University or sent through Registered Post/Speed Post/Courier to – The Director.

Last date for submission of application form 20th July, 2013
Date of LL.M. Entrance Test 28th July, 2013
