Nuclear laws??? That certainly sounds interesting! And that is exactly what NUJS is offering, in collaboration with the Department of Atomic Energy, Anushakti Bhavan, Mumbai. And guess what is even better? This is a distance learning programme so that no interested person misses it.
Over and above the basics of nuclear law, this course will give an insight into the laws relating to liability for nuclear damage, nuclear safety, regulations pertaining to it, nuclear non-proliferation, safeguards and dispute settlement. Though this course has the legal backdrop, it will not only be useful for legal candidates, but also those possessing a scientific background.
And just for the records, this course is the very FIRST of its kind on the subject initiated in India with Government collaboration.
