About the Organisation

Bhagubai Changu Thakur College of Law, New Panvel, is affiliated to the University of Mumbai and approved by the Bar Council of India. The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of the College is organising the conference.

About the Conference

The One-Day National Conference on “Re-Imagining Law and Society: Multidisciplinary Perspectives on Emerging Issues” aims to critically examine the evolving relationship between law and society amidst rapid technological, economic, cultural, and social transformation.

It provides a platform for scholars, academicians, legal practitioners, researchers, and students to explore interdisciplinary dialogues across law, technology, economics, sociology, culture, and allied disciplines to develop a more responsive and future-ready legal framework.

Call for Research Papers

Participants are invited to submit original and unpublished research papers addressing the conference theme or any suggested sub-themes in English, Marathi, or Hindi.

Papers will undergo single- or double-blind peer review and accepted papers will be published in the Peer-Reviewed, Refereed, and UGC-Listed Journal “AJANTA” (ISSN 2277-5730) with an Impact Factor of 8.172.

Submission Guidelines

  • Full papers must be in Microsoft Word format.
  • Use Times New Roman font for English or specified Unicode fonts for Marathi/Hindi; size 12 font and 1.5 line spacing.
  • Footnotes size 10 in APA style.
  • Word limit: 1500 to 2000 words (5-6 pages), including abstract.
  • Manuscripts should be original and not published previously.
  • Paper must be submitted exclusively for this conference.
  • Main manuscript should contain abstract, keywords, main text, and references.
  • Title page to include paper title, author names, mobile number, and email ID of corresponding author(s).
  • References should be in APA style with complete URLs for websites.

Registration Fees

  • Research Scholar / PG Student: ₹1,000
  • Faculty / Delegates: ₹1,200
  • Participation and Paper Presentation Only: ₹500

Note: Separate registration and fees required for multiple authors who want separate certificates, hard copies, and conference facilities.
