About the Institution
Symbiosis Law School, Pune (SLS Pune) is a constituent of Symbiosis International (Deemed University), established in 1977. It is one of India’s leading law schools, known for excellence in legal education, interdisciplinary research, international collaborations, and academic innovation.
The institution offers undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programmes in law and hosts the Symbiosis Centre for Advanced Legal Studies and Research (SCALSAR).
About the Conference
SYMROLIC (Symbiosis Conference on Rule of Law in Context) is the flagship annual international interdisciplinary research conference organised by Symbiosis Law School, Pune in collaboration with Symbiosis Law School, Noida, Symbiosis Law School, Hyderabad and Symbiosis Law School, Nagpur.
In collaboration with its esteemed international academic partners—University of Birmingham (United Kingdom), University of Limassol (Cyprus), and University of York (United Kingdom)—SYMROLIC 2026 reaffirms its commitment to advancing global legal scholarship, fostering international research collaboration, and promoting interdisciplinary dialogue on contemporary legal and governance challenges.
Started in 2012, the conference has evolved into an internationally recognised platform bringing together academicians, researchers, policymakers, legal professionals and students. The 2026 edition will be held in hybrid mode on 18–19 September 2026 at Symbiosis Law School, Pune.

Submission Guidelines
- Abstract in English (maximum 300 words).
- A4 paper with one-inch margins.
- Times New Roman font.
- Include title, author(s), affiliation and keywords.
- APA citation style for full paper.
- Maximum 20 pages (approximately 5,000–8,000 words).
- AI Usage Report and Plagiarism Report (maximum 10% similarity) mandatory.
- Maximum three co-authors.
- Each co-author must register separately.
- At least one co-author must present physically.
Processing Charges
National Delegates
- Single Author: ₹1,180
- Two/Three Authors: ₹1,770
Registration fee is not applicable for students, staff, and faculty members of Symbiosis International (Deemed University).
General Instructions
- Conference will be conducted in Hybrid Mode.
- Venue: Symbiosis Law School, Pune.
- International and remote participants may attend online.
- Separate registration is required for each co-author.
- Selected papers may be considered for publication in Scopus/Web of Science indexed conference proceedings.
