About the Quiz

As part of the Independence Day Celebrations 2026, the Ministry of Defence, in collaboration with MyGov, proudly presents an engaging Online Quiz Series aimed at deepening citizens’ understanding of India’s democratic foundations, freedom struggle, scientific achievements, and strategic capabilities.

Participants will have the opportunity to test their knowledge, explore defining moments of India’s journey, and celebrate the vision, resilience, and innovation that continue to shape the nation through four specially curated quizzes:

1. Quiz on the Constitution of India – Fundamental rights, duties, key articles and makers

Explore the cornerstone of Indian democracy through questions on Fundamental Rights, Fundamental Duties, key Constitutional provisions, and the visionary leaders who shaped the Constitution of India.

2. Quiz on Women in India’s Freedom Movement – From Rani Lakshmibai to Sarojini Naidu and beyond

Discover the extraordinary contributions of women who played a pivotal role in India’s struggle for independence, from Rani Lakshmibai and Sarojini Naidu to countless unsung heroines who inspired generations.

3. Quiz on Major milestones of Modern India – Technological progresses and achievement in Space Technology

Celebrate India’s remarkable journey of scientific advancement and technological excellence, highlighting transformative innovations and landmark achievements in space exploration.

4. Quiz on India’s success story in Nuclear Technology

Tracer India’s path towards self-reliance and excellence in nuclear science, showcasing significant milestones, peaceful applications, and strategic achievements that have strengthened the nation’s progress and security.

Eligibility

All Indian Citizens can participate in the quiz.

How to Register?

Interested candidates can register online via the link given at the end of the post.

Terms & Condition

  • Each of the quiz will be in bilingual format i.e. in Hindi and English.
  • Duration of each of the quiz will be 5 minutes (300 seconds), during which a maximum of 20 questions can be answered.

Prizes

  • Winners of the contest will be announced on the basis of combined performance in all the above quizzes. However, participants will be allowed in all the above quizzes without round-wise elimination.
  • Top three short listed winners will be awarded prize money of Rs. 15,000/- each.
  • There will be Twenty (20) Consolation Prizes of ₹5000/- each.
  • Top 200 participants along with one companion (spouse/guardian/relative etc.) would be issued e-invitation from Ministry of Defence to witness Independence Day Celebration to be held on 15th August, 2026 at Red Fort, Delhi.
