Virtuosity Legal, is a peer-reviewed academic blog independently run by students at the Faculty of Law, Aligarh Muslim University. This is a platform built with a simple, ambitious purpose: to create a space for meaningful legal discourse.

About the Call for Blogs
This call for blogs seeks to examine Critical Legal Studies as both a method of legal critique and a lens to reassess contemporary legal doctrines, institutions, and practices.
Contributions may explore themes such as judicial discretion, the indeterminacy of law, rights discourse, structural domination, and the role of law in reinforcing or challenging power structures, particularly within post-colonial and Global South contexts.

Main Theme: Critical Legal Studies and the Politics of Legal Meaning : Interrogating Power, Ideology, and Indeterminacy in Law.

Eligibility
Original, non-plagiarised submission with minimal to no usage of AI generated contents are invited from:

- experts in the field of law.

Submission Procedure
- Email your submission to submissions@virtuositylegal.com with the subject line: “Submission for Virtuosity Legal.”
- Attach your article in .doc or .docx format (Word file).
- Title of the document file should be the same as the title of the article.
- In the email body please include:
- A short abstract (100–200 words).
- A declaration that the work is original and has not been published elsewhere.
- A short bio.
- Submissions that fail to meet these guidelines may not be considered.
- Authors of selected articles will be notified via email within 7-10 working days.
- If you do not hear from us within 7-10 working days, kindly consider your manuscript rejected. Please feel free to pitch it elsewhere.
- The author(s) shall be conveyed via email if the reviewing team considers some changes in the submitted article. The author(s) shall reserve the right to make the due changes or withdraw the submission altogether. Comments highlighting changes do not preclude selection of the article.
