RMLNLU Lucknow to Host Annual Cultural Fest “Riwaayat 8.0” from 25–28 February 2026
Tehzeeb, the Cultural Committee of Dr. Ram Manohar Lohiya National Law University (RMLNLU), Lucknow, will organise the 8th edition of its annual cultural festival, Riwaayat, from 25 to 28 February 2026. Rooted in Lucknow’s cultural heritage, Riwaayat 8.0 is themed “Bharat Beyond Bare: A Maximalist Expression of Civilisational Richness.”
The festival seeks to move beyond minimal expressions of culture and instead celebrate the depth, abundance, and diversity of India’s civilisational legacy through performance, art, music, fashion, and literary expression.
About the Festival
Over the years, Riwaayat has emerged as one of the most prominent cultural festivals on the law school circuit, witnessing 2,000+ attendees, 600,000+ social media impressions, and participation from premier institutions including National Law Universities, IITs, and the University of Delhi. Previous editions have featured celebrated artists such as Ashish Solanki, Helly Shah, Rahul Dua, Nishant Suri, Kabir Café, Vipul Goyal, DJ Carnivore, Saadho Band, among others.
Competitions and Events
Riwaayat 8.0 offers a wide range of competitive and non-competitive events with a total cash prize pool exceeding ₹1.15 lakh. Key competitions include:

Celebrity Nights and Attractions
The fest will feature Celeb Night and DJ Night, alongside other attractions such as a Qawwali Night, live performances, food stalls, and cultural showcases. Past editions have hosted artists including DJ Tracer, DJ Swattrex, Rahul Dua, Nishant Suri, Kabir Café, Vipul Goyal, and other notable performers.
