With the above stated aim in mind we hereby announce Article Writing Competition to indulge the young generation of lawyers into the arena so that they can enhance their writing and research skill set which is of utmost importance to one who is a part of legal system irrespective of their geographical locations.
Eligibility Criteria and Rules for the Competition
The competition is open to the students pursuing undergraduate or postgraduate courses in any university/college across the globe in field of legal/ social sciences
The Article can be related to any contemporary legal issue.
Only original Articles that have not been published or have not been accepted for publication should be mailed to info@lexhindustan.com
Plagiarism of any form shall result in disqualification.
No identification marks must be found in any part of the article.
The Essay must be written in English.
The Essay must be type-written
o Heading : Font size 16 , Bold
o Sub heading : Font Size 14, Bold
o Main Content : 12 font size
o Font: Times New Roman
o Line Spacing : 1.5 line space.
o Margin : Left and Right : 1.25” Top and Bottom : 1” o Citation style : Bluebook 19th Edition
The Article should not be more than 2500 words. (Word limit is exclusive of Footnotes)
The Article has to be submitted in MS-Word format.
There has to be no End Notes.
Co-authorship is not permitted.
Multiple Entries will not be entertained and will lead to overall disqualification.

27th August, 2016
Submission Procedure
All the essays has to be mailed to info@lexhindustan.com on or before 11:59 PM of 27th August 2016.
The Subject line has to be ‘Lex Hindustan Article Writing Competition: Article Submission’.
The Name of File should be ‘Name of the author-Name of Article – Lex Hindustan Article Writing Competition’.
Registration Fee
There is NO REGISTRATION FEE for the competition.
Declaration of Results
Results of the competition will be declared on 9th September, 2016
Rewards
1st Prize : Rs. 5000/- and Certificate of Appreciation
2nd Prize : Rs. 3000/- and Certificate of Appreciation
3rd Prize: Rs.1000/- and Certificate of Appreciation
Other participants will be entitled for a certificate of participation.
