INAUGURAL CHAIR OF THE ASIAN SOCIETY OF INTERNATIONAL LAW INTEREST GROUP ON TEACHING INTERNATIONAL LAW

 

Call for Expressions of Interest

 

 

The Asian Society of International Law was established in 2007. Following three successful biennial conferences, the next biennial conference of the Society is to be hosted by the Indian Society of International Law in New Delhi, from 14 to 16 November 2013.
The Research and Planning Committee plans to use the occasion of the conference in New Delhi to launch an Asian SIL Interest Group on Teaching International Law. This Group will have as its goals enhancing the teaching of international law, particularly in the Asian region broadly defined, and to stimulate meaningful interaction on teaching and learning issues amongst members of the Society.

 

The Research and Planning Committee now invites expressions of interest from members of the Society who will be attending the conference for the role of Inaugural Chair of the Interest Group.

 

Please submit in the online form your expression of interest outlining the following by 1 August 2013 :

 

1.    Why you consider yourself to be suitable for this role;

2.    Your vision for the interest group, its activities and how it would carry these out.
