Post Graduate Teaching Department of Law was established in the year 1963 under the Third Five Year Plan on the basis of the recommendations of UGC. The Department was established to promote advanced training in law and research.
Constitutional Laws and related ethical concerns:
Identification of the marginalized sections of the society- tribal’s, persons with disability, Farmers etc
Theory of separation of powers and checks and balances – recent trends.
Role of the Governors
Women’s rights as Human Right
Right to life, euthanasia and assisted suicide.
Commercial Laws and related ethical concerns:
Corporate governance and ethics
Corporate Responsibility and ethics
Corporate accountability and ethics
Employee Rights and Ethics
Corporate Justice and Ethics
Personal Law and related ethical concerns:
Surrogacy and child rights
LGBT and legal issues related to them.
Uniform Civil Code
Genetic Research and ethics
Any other topic relevant with the title of the Seminar will be allowed.
An abstract of 250 words and full paper up to 3000 words should be sent on or before below mentioned dates in hard copy and soft copy addressed to the Seminar Coordinator,Post Graduate Teaching Department of Law, RTM Nagpur University, D. Co-authorship is allowed upto two researchers and each one of them needs to be registered separately.
