CLPR is a legal research and litigation centre that is involved in cutting-edge legal and policy work. Its areas of research include constitutional law, social rights and welfare, disability law, intellectual property rights and legal education. CLPR is also involved in public law litigation work in the Supreme Court, the Karnataka High Court and the sub-ordinate courts. As part of its impact litigation work, CLPR is involved in litigation in the areas of disability law, socio-economic rights, tobacco regulation and public health, the right to education, environmental law, gender and consumer protection. CLPR has had an enviable track-record of obtaining ground-breaking judgments in all these fields. The team of CLPR consists of lawyers, researchers and academics, who work collectively to promote research and make substantial intellectual contributions to law and policy related matters.
We offer internship positions in our litigation and research departments.
TASK: Interns will be expected to assist on both substantive and administrative projects in a variety of areas.
- Successful candidates for these positions must demonstrate attention to detail, responsibility, strong writing skills, and an ability to handle multiple tasks with aggressive deadlines.
- We encourage applicants of the 3rd, 4th and 5th year of study in their law school program.
- We will consider applications from students in their 2nd year of study if they show substantial ability.
DURATION: Individuals applying for internships must be able to commit to a minimum of 4 weeks.
