NALSAR is one of the leading Law Universities of India established in 1998.
The NALSAR University of Law has always endeavoured to promote quality research in contemporary legal issues. One of the contemporary but neglected areas in Indian legal realm is Air and Space laws. To fill this gap and to promote further studies and research in the aerospace law, the University established the advanced Centre for Air and Space law (CASL) in 2005 with object to contribute to the development of aviation and space laws and related policies by conducting and promoting research and teaching at different levels. Since then, NALSAR-CASL has been continually promoting the study of Air and Space Law by conducting National and International Conferences, Workshops and Publishing Newsletters, Books and Articles in Aerospace law field.
The Centre has come up with highly innovative courses in Aviation, Space, Telecommunications, GIS and Remote Sensing Laws. The aforesaid courses are of a unique value-added qualifications which would help the aspirants to acquire global placements in
aero-space and telecom industries. NALSAR‟s initiative aims to institutionalize an academy-industry partnership in the domain of Aero-space Technology and Laws which makes it first of its kind not only in India but in the entire Asia-Pacific Region.
These courses can be taken even by working professionals. These courses would be conducted in the „On-Site‟ and „On-line‟ mode. Centre for Air and Space Law (CASL), NALSAR University of Law, Hyderabad invites applications for admission to the following courses:

1. Two-Year Master‟s Degree in Aviation Law and Air Transport Management (MALATM)
2. Two-Year Master‟s Degree in Space and Telecommunication Laws (MSTL)
3. One-Year PG Diploma in Aviation Law and Air Transport Management (PGDALATM)
4. One-Year Post-Graduate Diploma in GIS & Remote Sensing Laws (PGDGRL)
i) Bachelor‟s degree or an equivalent degree in any discipline from any recognized university with 50% marks; or
ii) 3-year Degree/Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (AME) along with three years‟ industry experience.
Interested candidates, on or before April 30, 2014 are required to submit the filled-in application form available on the website, along with a Statement of Purpose (SOP), an attested copy of Degree/Diploma certificate along with a Demand Draft for Rs. 1000/- drawn on favour of “Registrar, NALSAR-CASL A/c”, payable at Hyderabad. Classes will commence in July 2014.
